Email mailout

FAQ

Email mailout

An Opt out means that the recipient has unsubscribed from your newsletter, and no longer wants to receive emails.

This will update the email consent in Lime Go.

Unfortunately, no.

If you anonymise a person that is included in an upcoming campaign, all personal data about that person will be deleted. The person will remain (as anonymous) in your e-mail campaign to show you that you were trying to send an e-mail to someone on this company, but will result in a hard bounce because the e-mail address is missing.

Why you can't send an e-mail to all of your customers

One of the big changes that GDPR entails is that you need explicit consent in order to do mass mailings. It is no longer enough to have been in contact with the person. How to ensure that there are explicit consent will not be covered in this guide, only how to mark whether the person has given it.

  1. Start by opening the card in Lime Go for the person that has given its consent.
  2. Click on Edit in the top right corner of the card
  3. Under the section Consent there are two checkboxes; OK for processing and Consents to email sendouts. The first one refers to GDPR and handling of personal data in Go, and the latter is the one that has to be checked in order to include the person in a email campaign in Go.
  4. Once checked, don’t forget to Save!
